the University of Opole is one of 19 public universities in Poland. Although it seems to be a relatively young university – established in 1994 – it has a long academic tradition since it was founded as a result of joining one of the best Polish pedagogical academies – the Higher Pedagogical College in Opole and Opole branch of the Catholic University in Lublin. Nowadays our University comprises eight faculties and several other units, which together form a dynamic, modern and committed to the highest standards of teaching academic institution.
